Hand-made from Irish Whiskey barrel

This solid oak bench is made from 100% authentic Irish whiskey barrel. By using only oak barrels this bench is very sturdy, solid and eco-friendly. The whiskey barrel used particularly for this bench was previously used by Jim Beam and later by the Dingle Distillery to age their Irish whiskey. This practical bench not only fits in any room of your home it also gives off a subtle sweet aroma of the whiskey.

Light or dark color

You can choose between 2 tones: Light or Dark.

The dark version is a direct representation of the whiskey barrel. It's staves are charred on one side (inside of the barrel is burnt to add colour and flavour to the whiskey) and have a beautiful patina on the other side of the staves (outside of the barrel).

The light coloured version is what's underneath the charr and patina. The staves are individually scraped and brushed and sanded and sanded and then sanded a bit more to get to the warm natural looking wood.

Put this bench beside the main door and it will be the first thing your guests will comment on. You can use the bench to sit on while putting the shoes off and store them on the shelve underneath. Our wooden bench / shoe rack is non-toxic. It is treated with an extremely durable natural oil & wax. . Solid oak wood in combination with its heavy duty design provides high load-bearing capacity. Simple and Convenient! No visible screws. The bench is screwed and glued with no visible screws. The screws are covered by dowels for a seamless look. One shelf, 75cm shoe rack holds 4- 5 pairs of men's and women's shoes neatly - keeping your home tidy and clean

Indoors / Outdoors

All items are primarily made to be used indoors and are finished with an indoor oil / wax. They can be used on your patio as long as they are100%  sheltered from rain and damp. If you wish to use them outdoors please get in touch. We can make the exact same piece with a finish suitable for outdoor use. No extra charge.
